About Me…

Are you interested in having a personal relationship with God? Do you want to live beautifully in an ugly world? How’s it going for you? Is you life everything you want it to be and more?

As a person who grew up feeling unloved and needy, I found that by giving my life over to Jesus Christ, I would find Someone who would never abandon me. Once I made that decision, I was never the same.

As an avid reader and writer, my blog helps me express my thoughts about humanity and the world. And because I lived much of my life in a paradox of fear and false bravado, it’s important for me to share how I escaped these two villainous soul crushers.

In my blog postings, I share how my relationship with God has changed my life through personal experience, pointing to biblical scriptures, and teaching about them. Committed to telling you about my faith experience, I will have a weekly blog available to you every Monday morning.

In 2014 I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies from Colorado Christian University. My first book, Call of the Potter, was published in 2010. I am currently working on Living Beautiful in an Ugly World (working title).

My post Who Are Your Friends? was read and enjoyed by followers more than any other. Maybe you’d like to look at it again! https://carolsclaytalk.com/2015/03/09/who-are-your-friends/

As I look forward to sharing my thoughts and hearing yours, I would invite you subscribe to my blog my clicking on Follow Blog via Email in the bottom right hand corner.

Let’s Talk!

  1. Yes, exactly my method of daily thoughts and praise . I would be no one , nothing , without Gods love . . When I am faced with any challenge , I praise him , knowing he is with me , I never feel alone , As God is my father .

    1. Maria,
The most wonderful think about God being our Father is that He will never leave us, He is always there for us, and we will spend eternity with Him in Heaven! He doesn’t disappoint us, even thought He knows everything about us, He still loves us. We do not have to pretend; we can be ourselves and thank Him for loving the good things about us AND the bad things about us.

  2. You are right on, my friend. It is not rules, words, or religion but a hour by hour relationship with Him.

Praise God for who He is and what He has done and is doing for us. He alone is worthy of our praise!!!
